At CAPTURING THE ESSENCE we are honored to participate in the economic, health, and social development of  Redding California and Northern California by operating

Capturing The Essence Salt Cave, Redding California. It was opened

January 20, 2020.

It is our desire to partner with the community  in support of the city’s motto:

“Working Together to Improve Our Community"

while enhancing Redding's reputation as the 

"Jewel of Northern California."

We are excited to serve Redding in various capacities to help it continue on it's path of building a great city and community.

The owner's education and experience crosses the fields of Doctoral Studies in Clinical Psychology, Training in: Massage Therapy, Athletic Training, Physical Therapy, Skilled Nursing Care, Business Development, Art, and Tourism.

The owner has worked as a Professor of Tourism Management in South Korea, in a 5 Star 5 Diamond resort in Southern California, performed psychological evaluations and therapeutic treatment in hospital emergency rooms, inpatient and outpatient mental health facilities, university campuses, homeless shelters for both children, families and adults, and served internationally  with organizations in anti-human trafficking.

The owner's cross cultural understanding has been achieved by living in 3 countries and serving  in and traveling to over 30 countries. The owner took a special interest in researching spa services, trends and treatment methods in the U.S.A., London, Italy, Moldova, Thailand, South Korea, Cambodia, Turkey, and Indonesia.
